Re-introducing ourselves to the Community Summer 2024
Did you know that in the state of New Hampshire, 29% of all children live in single parent homes? We didn't either. That's up from 27% from 2019. It's safe to say that the status of "single parent" is on the rise. This summer we did things a little different here at SPIN. We branched out into the community and participated in weekly community outreach events where we met with a handful of single parents in need of SPIN. Fingers crossed they manage to make it to a future meeting. We also hosted a couple of pop-up events in the area where we provided face painting for the kids and some literature and conversation for the parents. Even though SPIN has been part of the community for the past decade there's soooo many people that still don't know about us. We're hoping to change all of that real soon.
